We would like everyone to please pray for the family of Cheyeanna Boonstra.
Cheyeanna Boonstra, age 18, passed away near Lamoni, Iowa on
Saturday, October 28, 2011.
Cheyeanna was born on July 16, 1993 in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of David
Boonstra and Joyce Thompson. The family later moved to Calhoun, MO, where she
graduated from High School. While in High School, she was a member of FCCLA, Art
Club, the Basketball Team and was the Salutatorian of her class. She was a
freshman at Graceland University in Lamoni, IA, where she recently met and
married her husband, Andro Sulkhanishvili. Cheyeanna was deeply loved by many.
Surviving Cheyeanna is her husband of the home; her parents, David Boonstra
and Joyce Thompson of Calhoun, MO; one sister, Danielle Boonstra of the home;
one brother, David Boonstra of the home. Also surviving are her maternal
grandparents, John and Alfareta Thompson; three aunts, two uncles, a host of
cousins and a multitude of friends.
Preceding Cheyeanna in death was a brother Jack Crowe.
The family’s wishes for cremation were performed under the direction of
Consalus Funeral Home of Clinton. A candlelight vigil will be held on Wednesday,
November 2, 2011 at the Calhoun Baptist Church at 6:30 PM. On Thursday, November
3, 2011 a visitation will be held at the Calhoun Baptist Church from 6:00 – 8:00
PM. A Funeral Service will be conducted at the Calhoun School gymnasium on
Friday, November 4, 2011 at 4:00 PM.
The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the Cheyeanna
Boonstra Memorial Fund and left in care of Consalus Funeral Home, 209 S. 2nd
St., Clinton, MO 64735.
