Happy Fathers Day greetings were expressed to all of the Dads this morning. A box of Chocolates was given to each one of them! We should always appreciate our fathers and even more so our Heavenly Father.
The reading of the Word was from 1 Samuel 18: 1-4 NASB “He Loved Him As Himself: The Example of Fatherly Mentorship”
Now it came about when he had finished speaking to Saul, that the soul of Jonathan was knit to the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as himself. Saul took him that day and did not let him return to his father’s house. Then Jonathan made a covenant with David because he loved him as himself.
