Calhoun Baptist Church News December 6, 2015
In today’s service we welcomed Brother Brent Burns. Brother Burns delivered his sermon titled “Christ’s Example of Humility” and preached from the book of Philippians 2:5-11.
Our Prayer Concerns are for our Pastor Search Committee, The Family of Tommy Hartley, Pat Kampe, Anna Myrtle Hansen, Charles Brown, Claudean Brown, James Henzlik, Tim Mendenhall, Lacy George, Tom George, Casey Miller, Ciara Pennock and twin babies, Janet Taylor, Doug Cooper,
Pray for our Missionaries and our men and women in the Military.
This Sunday is the second Sunday of Advent. The Danny and Tonya Johnston Family read the scriptures and prayed for the lighting of the second purple Candle.
Saturday, December 5th. we Decorated the Church. at 5:30 PM Then afterwards we all had Soup and Chili for Supper!
We will be sacking candy and filling Christmas Plates after the Business Meeting on Dec. 13th. Home made Cookies are needed please
You are encouraged to bring Beautiful Poinsettsa and place them on the Alter in memory of your loved ones.
Decmber 24th. “Christmas Candle Light Services” at 6 PM
We have Sunday School @ 10:00 AM every Sunday morning with
a Class for each Age Group.
Worship Services Sunday @ 11 AM
We have a Nursery for the Little Ones
At 6 PM on Wednesdays Youth Group Meets
Wednesdays at 6 PM GA’s & RA’S .
Also Adult Bible Study Meets Wednesdays @ 7 PM
