David Van Bebber has served as pastor at Calhoun Baptist Church since 2012. He and his wife Valerie have three kids: Johnathan 12; Evie 9; Violet 6; and one on the way. Some of their favorite family activities include riding bikes together on the Katie Trail, playing board games on their weekly “Family Fun Night”, and camping.
Pastor Dave is a Missouri State graduate, as well as a graduate of Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and Southwest Baptist University. He continues to study Biblical Languages at MBTS.
David served for 8 years in the US Army as a Flight Operations Specialist, ending his military career as an E-5. Besides being pastor at CBC Brother Dave is an instructor at State Fair Community College where he teaches Public Speaking.
Some of Dave’s personal hobbies are studying apologetics and systematic theology, he is an avid reader, and he loves to hunt and spend time shooting his bow or clay pigeons.
