The young people are doing Great! The Worship Services began this morning with the announcements by Brother Jordan. Also the recognition of birthdays and anniversaries. Then there was a very special Awards Ceremony for the children taking part in the program that is moderated by Lori Schneider. Those that want to take notes during our Pastor’s Sermons each Sunday can do so and qualify for being included in the quarterly awards ceremony. Also, those who participate in the program will receive a certificate to attend a Special Pizza Party each quarter. This is for young people that are in the fourth grade through the twelfth grade. Their Pizza Party was today after the a.m. Church Services. There were two young people who had perfect attendance and received a special book. Everyone had a really good time!
Brother Jordan’s sermon today was about “Tough Teachings:“ You can find those he talked about today in the book of John chapter 6:56-69 NIV.
John 6:56-59 NIV, 56 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in them. 57 Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of me. 58 This is the bread that came down from heaven. Your ancestors ate manna and died, but whoever feeds on this bread will live forever.” 59 He said this while teaching in the synagogue in Capernaum.
Someone had to die to pay for our sins! That someone is Jesus, ‘The Holy One of God!”
