Welcome, Colt Show friends!

We hope you are having a great time at the Colt Show, and that our free snow cone has made it even more enjoyable.

You might have noticed our sign says ‘Taste & See.’ That comes from Psalm 34:8: ‘Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.’ We wanted to give you a physical treat today, but our greatest hope is that you experience the lasting goodness and peace that comes from knowing Jesus.

How to Experience God’s Goodness

The Bible gives us a clear path to understanding God’s love and how to have a relationship with Him. We often call this the “Romans Road” because it takes us through the book of Romans:

The Problem: “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23) We have all missed the mark and chosen our own way over God’s.

The Consequence: “For the wages of sin is death…” (Romans 6:23) Our sin separates us from a holy God.

God’s Provision: “…but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 6:23) and “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)

Our Response: “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9)

The Promise: “For, ‘Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.'” (Romans 10:13)

1 John 1:9 says, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” If you are ready to accept God’s free gift of grace, we ask you to say the following prayer:

“Lord Jesus, I know that I’m a sinner and I do not deserve eternal life. But I believe that you died and rose from the grave to make me a new creation and to prepare me to dwell in your presence forever. Jesus, come into my life, take control of my life, forgive my sins, and save me. I am now placing my trust in you alone for my salvation, and I accept your free gift of eternal life.”

If you prayed that prayer, we would love to connect with you. Please complete the following form, and we will contact you!
