Our Worship Service was opened this morning by the Chairman of the Deacons, Brother Terry Barrow. He gave the Announcements and  Recognition of Birthdays and Anniversaries in the absence of our Pastor this morning.

He also told us about how the G. A. Girls are preparing a Paper Chain of  messages. A message on each link of the chain. There will be a link for every 10 cents donated to the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American Missions. Our goal this year is $200.00. There will be a lot of message links on this chain because there is already 450 links on the chain. It will be on display in the church to encourage others to financially  support our missions here in the United States. All of our youth have been very busy this year. The R.A. Boys have had a lock-in at the church with their Leaders in charge of the many fun Activities for them to do while they were having a very good time learning more about Jesus and His ways for them to follow in His foot steps.  After a short Mission’s Message shown on the over-head big screen,  Brother Terry introduced our guest speaker for the morning.  Rev. Charles Kelly brought the message this morning from the book of 1 Corinthians Ch. 13:4-13 N.I.V. This chapter is called the “Love Chapter.” The Greatest Gift is Love!  Brother Kelly put special emphasis on

After the services this morning we had a “Vacation Bible School Meeting.” We are so excited to be planning a very interesting Bible School again this year for the children. There is a class for pre-school through the 5^th and 6^th. grade students. The plans are for having this years VBS Bible School in the evenings from 6pm until 9 pm in  June from the 10^th-15^th. Our children are the future of the Church! Be in prayer for this very important ministry for our children and their services for the Lord!
