When everyone had a chance to greet each other with a handshake or a hug and maybe a friendly hello, our Brother Jordan welcomed everyone to worship in the midst of other believers where all people are welcome to come just as you are. He recognized birthdays and anniversaries. Sister Lori Faulkner and her son Tynan were celebrating their birthdays. What a wonderful birthday gift to have your precious son born only the day after your birthday! We hope both your days were filled full of joy and enough happiness to last all year long! Also we had one couple celebrating their 1st. year Anniversary. Congratulations Brother Mark and Sister Lorri Schneider may you allow God to guide you through many more happy years together!
Our contemporary song this morning on our big screen was “Here I am to Worship” by Hillsong.
The call to worship was with songs “The Solid Rock” and “It is Well with My Soul,” with the Meditation Hymn being “For He Alone is Worthy.” Oh what wonderful songs of praise to welcome the Holy Spirit into our worship time and receive God’s Word as He sends it to us through His conduit, our Pastor Jordan. He contenued his sermons about “God’s Standard” that all leads back to “The Gospel of Jesus Christ” and how God loves us so much that He sent His only son Jesus to take our place on the cross to bear all the sin of the world. Your sins and mine, no matter how awful we think they are, He will forgive us and send them as far as the east is east and as far as the west is west never to remember them again!! In John 3:16 You can find how much God loves us!
John 3:16 KJV For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son, that whosoever beleaveth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.
Then we must work for His Kingdom that will never end. We must go into all of the world and tell everyone about God’s son Jesus and how much fun it is to be a child of the Most High God! Remember that God’s Standard goes deep and we can not meet his requirements of being perfect as His son is without a personal Relationship with Him.
The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
