The congregation was so thankful to the Father when a young boy come forward today to except Jesus as his Savior! Spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ through out the world also means to make it known to our little ones and to all lost sinners in our community, as well as to the whole world!
The young people who have been taking notes during Pastor Jordan’s Sermons this past quarter were recognized and given a certificate of recognition for their efforts to learn more about the Bible and Gods ways. Those receiving certificates were Curtis Barrow, Victoria Barrow, Trenton Thompson, and Annie Sword. There was a Pizza Party for them after the Worship Services today! Brother Mark and Sister Lori Schneider handed out the certificates to the youth. Sister Lori also moderated Children’s Church today!
All who served in the military were ask to stand for recognition for having served their country!
There were 4 birthdays and one anniversary celebrated by the congregation singing Happy Birthday and Happy Anniversary to them!
Our contemporary song and video this morning on our big screen was “As the Deer”.
The songs for worship today were “O Worship the King”, “Abide in Me”, and My Country Tis of Thee”.
Brother Jordan’s Sermon today was about My Condition:
1).We are all lost! You can find this in the book of Isaiah 53:6. All of us have gone astray, ( we have all sinned. You can find this in the book of 1 John 1:8.2). Our best is not good enough! Isaiah 64:6. Our good works will not get us to Heaven.3). We are nothing without God. You can find this in Psalm 16:2 .God’s Standard +my condition + the cross + a personal relationship with Christ = Salvation
