Rev. David Van Bebber Pastor:
Oh what a beautiful Sabbath day to be in the house of the Lord!
Brother David welcomed everyone and announced the events of the coming week to look forward to and attending.
Praise and Prayer Request is a time to announce how the Lord has blessed you and answered prayer in your life or in the lives of others with whom you are praising God for answered prayers. Also it is the time to request your prayer concerns to all of the congregation.
We have so much to be thankful for and praise God for answered Prayers for our pastors healing! The fall from almost 50 feet to the cement below caused severe injuries. He has come a long way since his accident on Memorial Day of this year. He is walking with a walker and riding his stationary bike. He has worked so hard and is still working hard at his therapy to bring him back to 100 %. We are praying for just that and he will do it with God leading him all of the way!
The Gospel according to John is where our pastor is bringing his message from again today. A Logical Choice, the reading of the Word was from John Ch. 17: 7-8 NIV. 7) Now they know that everything you have given me comes from you. 8 For I gave them the words you gave me and they accepted them.
This is words from Jesus, in a prayer to the Father about his Disciples. They had made a choice to believe him that He is who he says he is and to follow him. Now they know that everything you have given me comes from you. For I gave them the words you gave me and they accepted them. They knew with certainty that I came from you, and they believed that you sent me.
We continue to request special prayers for our Pastor David and all of those who are on our “Prayer Concerns List”.
