“Wait On God” was the title of Pastor Mark Abney’s sermon on Sunday morning.  He used Psalm 27 as the scripture.  One thing God has asked of His people from all time “if you seek me, you will find me”.  Wait on God.  Waiting is the hardest part but don’t give up, keep praying; God will do something.  He will never leave you or forsake you.  God will always be found by all those who wait on Him and seek Him.

We lift up in prayer Caroline Wilson, Michael Parker, our nation’s leaders, emergency responders, medical personnel, and all families who are affected with sickness or job loss.  How fortunate we are to be able to take our concerns to the Lord knowing he hears, cares, and answers.

On June 7th we will have a fish fry at 5:30 pm.  Plan on attending and bring a covered dish of food.   Celebrate Recovery will continue at 6:30 pm.  Everyone is invited.

Vacation Bible School will look different this year.  It will be more like a backyard bible club.  All activities will be held outside from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm.  Children will enjoy bible stories, crafts, and games.  Yummy snacks will be served.  Plan on sending those kiddos Monday through Wednesday night June 22nd -24th.

We encourage you to remain faithful with your offering or tithe.  Bring it in person or mail it into Calhoun Baptist Church, PO Box 33, Calhoun, Missouri 65323.

You are invited to join us this Sunday morning at 10:00 am for Sunday School and Worship at 11:00 am.  Remember God is in control and He is greater than ANYTHING!
