Church News – July 17th

Holy, Holy, Holy were the words of worship we sang joining voices in praise to our Heavenly Father. Pastor Mark Abney titled his message Pride, Politics, and Persistence. Judges 8: 1-21 was the text he chose. The children of Israel turned their backs on God and so He put them in captivity. Over and over again we see this in the Bible. Isn’t the same true of our lives? We get away from God, problems occur, we repent and God puts our feet on solid ground again. Let us not get in the way of God. We must keep on and pursue His will and work. If we want to have victory in our lives we must be in God’s will.

Please remember in prayer Chad Price, Caroline Wilson, Ashley Wheatley, healthcare workers and emergency personnel, law enforcement, and our country. Call on God. He hears, answers and comforts.

Our July birthday wishes are for Mackenleigh Hardesty whose special day on July 13. Happy birthday.
