The truth of God’s word is that Jesus is coming back.  Pastor Mark Abney opened his message titled Signs of the Times – The Day of the Lord with these words.  Using Matthew 24 as his text he stated what many today are feeling; we are getting closer and closer to the day of the Lord.  Three things will signal His return: the archangel, Jesus will shout and the trumpet will sound.  It is important to pay attention to the signs of the times.  But why?  When we see the signs our faith grows and Jesus might find us blameless and in a right relationship when He appears.  We should utilize our time on earth wisely.  Be busy doing what the Holy Spirit tells you to do.

Prayer requests this week go out for Taylor Wilcox, Susie Reynolds, Martie Henne, and the leaders of our country.  Continue to pray for those who have Covid and those who are being the healing hands of God.  Praise be to God who hears and answers our prayers.

Celebrate Recovery continues every Sunday evening beginning at 5:30 with a meal, worship at 6:30 pm followed by small group at 7:30.  Sunday we were blessed by the testimony of one whose life has been changed because of a right relationship with Christ.  Don’t be afraid to reach out for help.  How has pride stopped you from asking for and getting help to overcome your hurts, habits, and hang-ups?  Come and check out CR.
