God sees what we do and knows why we do it.  What a stunning revelation.  Using Romans 2:1-24 as his text Pastor Mark Abney identified 3 reasons why God is good in his sermon titled The Goodness of God.  The first reason God is good is because He judges according to his word.  It is written down in the Bible and never changes.  Secondly, God is good because he judges according to our deeds.  If we are saved we should be doing things for God.  Thirdly, God is good because He judges us by our advantages.  Some have heard about His truth because of location.  One thing is for sure, God is going to judge us all.  He died on a cross to pay the price for our sins and rose from the dead in victory.  Have you accepted his free gift of salvation?  It’s not too late.

Happy anniversary to Terry and Mary Barrow who celebrated their special day on June 9th.  Many more happy years together is our wish for them.

Our prayer concerns this week include Don Gregory, Dalton Creach, Janet Taylor, John Young, Jason and the Alta Dulaban Family. How blessed we are to know our God hears and answers prayers.

Celebrate Recovery continues on Sunday evenings with dinner served at 5:30 pm followed by worship at 6:30 pm.  Small group support begins at 7:30.  The lesson this week was ADMIT.  We gain healing, freedom and support when we admit our wrongs and sins. Come to CR;  fellowship,  make new friends and help strengthen your resolve to live a victorious life.

Vacation Bible School this summer will be held on August 2- 6.  Make plans now for your whole family to attend.  There will be classes for Preschool through Adults.  This will be a great time for families to share the VBS experience together.
